When you lose someone close to you to cancer, a donation to Cancer Council will honour your loved one and give hope to the thousands of West Australians battling their own cancer.

How will my In Memory donation help?
An In Memory donation honours your loved one and provides hope for all West Australians. Your donation will:
- fund vital cancer research
- educate the community on how to reduce their risk of cancer
- provide information and support services to people affected by cancer

How to make an In Memory donation
To make an In Memory gift you can:
- donate online using your credit card
- call our Supporter Hotline 1300 65 65 85 or
- print the In Memory Donation Form and mail your completed form including your donation to:
When you make an In Memory donation we send a sympathy card to the bereaved family telling them of your thoughtful gift. The amount of your donation remains confidential.
How to organise a donation collection at a funeral
Requesting donations in lieu of flowers at the funeral service of your loved one allows family, friends and guests to give a meaningful gift of hope. If you would like to do this, we can help with our In Memory donation kit.
If you are organising the funeral, ask your Funeral Director to provide you with our Cancer Council In Memory donation kit, containing:
- Donation collection envelopes
- Cancer Council Western Australia information brochure
If your Funeral Director is unable to assist you, we can deliver an In Memory kit to you within three working days.

To return the collection, simply post or deliver your donation envelopes to our West Perth office.

How to inform funeral guests to donate to Cancer Council in lieu of flowers
If you would like friends and family to make a donation in lieu of flowers you could include the following wording in your loved one's funeral notice:
Donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer Council WA, 46 Ventnor Ave, WEST PERTH WA 6005 or call 1300 65 65 85.
We will send a tax deductible receipt to every person who makes a donation in memory at the funeral service, and we can send the nominated next of kin a record of the total donated.
