Acute Proctitis Study

A study in patients undergoing radiation therapy to their pelvis. |

Purpose |
This study is evaluating how a questionnaire might help us understand how side effects might affect patients during their radiation treatment. Patients who are about to commence radiation therapy to the pelvic area are eligible to take part. Questions will focus on quality of life and symptoms that patients experience. |

Chronic Proctitis Study

Registered Title |
An international field study of the reliability and validity of a proctitis specific quality of life module (EORTC QLQ-PRT23) for chronic proctitis. |

Purpose |
An international 6 month study to assess a questionnaire developed to measure the severity of pelvic radiation side effects. Patients are eligible for this study if they are about to receive radiation therapy to the pelvic region. |
