Look Good...Feel Better

This national program helps men and women living with cancer to improve their appearance and self esteem by teaching beauty techniques to camouflage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.

The Look Good, Feel Better team

During a two hour workshop, under the guidance of experienced and specially trained volunteers, clients are shown how to deal with changes that may occur during their treatment (loss of hair, eyebrows and lashes, redness and dryness of the skin, facial weight gain or loss) through the use of skincare, make-up, wigs, turbans, hats and other accessories.

An experienced fitter is also in attendance to demonstrate the use and care of wigs.

Workshops are free of charge and are held almost every week at various locations around the metropolitan area. They are also held in some country locations on a regular basis.

The client receives beauty products for their use during the workshop, which can be taken home afterwards. There is no charge for these products, as they are donated by the member companies of the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association.

If you wish to bring a friend or family member with you please feel free to do so, however it will not be possible for them to take an active part in the workshop itself.

Registration is essential. To register for the WA workshops call (08) 9408 0595 or alternatively 1800 650 960.
