Developing a healthy workplace 
The culture and environment of a workplace can have significant impact on the health of employees.
The Cancer Council WA offers a range of services that support organisations to provide a healthy workplace environment and improve the wellbeing of staff.
Workplace education sessions
Cancer Council WA staff are trained to provide workplace education sessions covering a range of health related topics. Sessions can be tailored to meet the needs of any organisation.

Speaker's kits
Several speaker's kits are available to support organisations deliver in-house health education sessions.
The kits includes powerpoint slides, speaker's notes, handouts and background information on the topic. Speaker's kits are particularly useful for workplaces located in remote and regional areas.
Prevention and early detection publications
The Cancer Council WA produces an extensive range of prevention and early detection publications including sun protection resources specifically designed for workplaces and outdoor workers.

Cancer in the workplace forum
The first WA Cancer in Workplace forum was held in Perth in November 2011. The forum discussed how different occupational environments can increase a person's risk of cancer. International speaker Dr Lesley Rushton, Imperial College London, presented her findings from the study 'Cancers Caused by Occupation in Great Britain'.
