Named to honour and remember the commitment and drive of a much respected and loved colleague, wife, mother and grandmother, Suzanne Cavanagh. Suzanne always believed in stewardship and supporting the next generation, her vision assisted many young people to grow and develop beyond their own expectations.

The Cancer Council Western Australia Suzanne Cavanagh Early Career Investigator Grants were developed along the same philosophy and aim to help talented researchers at the early stage of their career develop the skills and track record necessary to become competitive in national research grant processes.
