Everything a girl should know about the HPV vaccine
Cancer Council Victoria have also developed a 4 minute DVD on the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and cervical cancer, why not watch it too?
Girls in Australia can have a vaccine to help protect them from cervical cancer. It protects against the four types of human papillomavirus (HPV) that cause 70% of cervical cancers and 90% of genital warts. It is available free to girls aged 12 in Western Australia, during their last year of primary school, under the National HPV Vaccination Program.
