This half-day workshop can help to enhance your communication skills and further develop resilience in discussing personal issues with patients, family and carers more effectively. By developing your communication skills you will also improve your professional relationships with patients and colleagues, whilst contributing to best practice and improving patient safety and outcomes.
The workshop involves participating in hypothetical scenarios with a simulated patient/actor and an experienced trained facilitator. There may also be a co-facilitator in training. We provide a safe, private and non-judgmental learning environment for you to practice and receive feedback on your communication skills.
• Develop effective fundamental communication skills
• Practice recognising emotional cues
• Embed intuitive responses through simulated role play

Please ensure that you register all participants’ direct contact details to ensure that they receive all the required event information directly. Unfortunately we have had an increasing number of “No Shows” at our events during 2019. PaSCE will be charging a non-attendance fee for all events where there has been no notice of cancellation prior to the event. The fee will be the cost of the event for paid events or $20 per person for free events.
