This free education activity will focus on the diagnosis & survivorship of childhood, adolescent and young adult cancers.

Expert speakers will discuss recent evidence and use case studies to outline the signs and symptoms suggestive of childhood
and adolescent cancers , address the complex psychosocial needs of adolescent and young adults who have cancer,
and discuss the late effects commonly experienced by childhood cancer survivors.

Learning outcomes*
1. Recall the clinical features of a patient requiring urgent investigation
2. Summarise the presentations seen in a paediatric patient which are commonly indicative of cancer
3. Assess the impact of childhood cancer treatment on increased risk of morbidity and mortality into adulthood
4. Distinguish key surveillance strategies recommended for patients transitioning to the primary care setting after
treatment
