Waters an inspired choice for AFL Community Leadership Award

Cancer Council Western Australia  congratulates West Coast Eagle Beau Waters  on winning the 2014 Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award.
Beau has been a tireless worker in his role as Cancer Council WA ambassador for the past decade, devoting his time and energy to increasing awareness of and raising funds for, cancer research and support services at CCWA.
Cancer Council CEO Susan Rooney said Beau is an exceptional young man and an inspired choice for the 2014 award.
“Beau has been absolutely committed to his role as Cancer Council WA ambassador, and amongst other things, has helped to raise more than $1 million for our work through his involvement in the West Coast Eagles’ annual Dig Deep campaign” Ms Rooney said.
“He is a very worthy recipient of The Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award, and it is fantastic to see him recognised in this way.  We are very grateful to Beau for his extremely valuable contribution to Cancer Council WA.”
