We're on a mission to beat cancer, and we need your help!
Every day, we’re funding cancer research, running prevention programs, and providing support to WA families when they need it most, but we couldn’t do it without our incredible fundraisers. Check out what some awesome WA schools are doing below.
John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School
For the past 20 years the year 6 students at John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School in Beechboro have participated in a head shave fundraiser. Over the years the school fundraising event has raised an over $100,000 for CCWA!
Dalkeith Primary School
As part of their year 6 Leadership Program, Dalkeith Primary School held a fundraising movie night at Windsor Cinema in Nedlands, inviting guests to enjoy a screening of Beauty And The Beast. The school community came together with 184 people attending the event, raising a whopping $1680.60 on the night! Guests had a tonne of fun and even got to enjoy some free popcorn!
Iona Presentation College
The Year 4 students at Iona Presentation College raised a wonderful $765 for us by hosting a morning tea to honour the important females in their lives.
Iona student Asher said of the event “I enjoyed it so much, so did my mum. My favourite part was my mum came, had food, drinks and had fun. Lots of people donated to Cancer Council, so people with cancer can get better and live longer.”
Aquinas hosted their very own Relay For Life event,to celebrate cancer survivors and carers and honour loved ones lost. The event raised an amazing $15,000!! Students were entertained off the circuit by competing in flash mob competitions and a volleyball tournament.

There are tonnes of fun, easy ways to fundraise and help us make a difference, you could:
• Hold a free dress day for a gold coin donation
• Organise a class vs class bake-off and bake sale
• Host a movie night or dance
