Did you know we have a telephone service designed to help cancer patients return to a healthy lifestyle after cancer treatment? Did you also know that we are only able to operate this service thanks to the support you, the community provide?
We rely on this generosity to give you or others the available support they deserve.
Healthy Living after Cancer is a free, personalised diet and exercise program operated by our experienced Cancer Nurses. The program is delivered entirely by telephone, making us accessible across WA.
It's designed to help participants set and reach their goals for increased physical activity and improved diet and is available to people over the age of 18.
As part of the program, individuals will receive up to 12 health coaching calls over six months with one of our WA based Cancer Nurses. They provide personalised support to help those affected get active, eat better and feel better, enabling them to do more of the things that are important.
Getting back to a healthy lifestyle after cancer is important and research has shown that exercising more and eating better may help reduce the risk of cancer returning.
