Lung cancer screening opportunity

Posted 2 Jul 2018.

Could you be at risk of developing lung cancer, or know someone who is?

Fiona Stanley Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital are currently conducting an international lung cancer screening trial.

They are looking for people who are:

• Aged 55 - 80
• A current or former smoker in generally good health
• No history of lung cancer
• No CT chest scan within the last 2 years

If you meet these criteria you may be eligible to participate in this study at Fiona Stanley Hospital or Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Participants will have a low-dose chest CT scan to see if it can detect early lung cancer.

Register your interest in participating, here.
