Is your Will up to date?

Posted 17 Aug 2021.

There's no better time than now to update your Will.

Having a Will allows you to provide security for your loved ones, ensure that your wishes are fulfilled, and take comfort in knowing that your assets will be distributed to the people and causes that you care about.

To ensure that your estate is managed according to your wishes, it is incredibly important to keep it up to date. Luckily, it's now easier than ever to make sure your Will reflects any changes in your situation - we even offer some special Will writing offers throughout the year to help our supporters and the WA community ensure their Will is up to date.

Next time you update your Will, please consider leaving a gift to Cancer Council WA and help us achieve our vision of a cancer free future for all. Gifts in Wills make up approximately 16 per cent of our funds, and these bequests enable us to work across every aspect of every cancer.

Every day, we support families affected by cancer when they need it most speak out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empower people to reduce their cancer risk, and through research find new ways to better detect and treat cancer. With your help, we're getting closer to a cancer free future.

All gifts, no matter the size, come together to make a real difference - not only to the lives of those we're able to support, but also to the family who can take comfort in the fact their loved one's wishes have been honoured.

How can I find out more?
