Our way of saying thank you
Clive Deverall, Executive Director 1977-1999, was the heart and soul of Cancer Council WA for more than twenty years. Known as a grass roots hero in the cancer world he dedicated his life to making things better for people diagnosed with cancer.
In true Clive fashion he agreed to lend his name to the Clive Deverall Society (CDS) which was launched in 2004 as a way of thanking the insightful people who also want to make things better for people diagnosed with cancer by including a gift in their Will to Cancer Council WA.
Let us know you have included a gift to us in your Will by simply telling us and you will be eligible to join this group of very special like-minded individuals.
We host several special events throughout the year including our CDS lunches which are hosted by our Partner, Parmelia Hilton Perth, and attract a wide range of guest speakers.
We can send an invitation for you and your guest to join us at the next CDS lunch to hear volunteer guest speakers, updates about the work of Cancer Council WA and join others who, like you, believe that together we can beat cancer.
"My guest and I really enjoy the CDS lunches. We particularly enjoy hearing Cancer Council WA's latest news. I can see how my support is benefiting the organisation, and it gives me hope for future generations." (CDS member)
